Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced sales leader to join us as Sr. Manager – International Messaging Sales. This role focuses on driving global business for Pinnacle’s enterprise messaging portfolio including:
- WhatsApp Business Messaging
- 1 SPOC (White-labeled Omnichannel Suite)
- Campaign Manager
- India ILDO A2P SMS
- RCS Business Messaging
- Mizzle (Infrastructure as a service marketplace)
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling CPaaS, messaging APIs, and operator-grade communication solutions to global enterprises and international aggregators.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive international sales for Pinnacle’s messaging portfolio targeting aggregators, enterprises, and channel partners.
- Own the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure across regions like SEA, MENA, Africa, Europe, and LATAM.
- Build long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders, procurement teams, and technology decision-makers.
- Generate new business from key verticals: BFSI, E-commerce, Logistics, Healthcare, Fintech, and OTT platforms.
Product-Specific Responsibilities
- Promote WhatsApp Business Messaging through BSPs and direct integrations.
- Position Pinnacle’s white-labeled omnichannel solution (1 SPOC) as a unified CX platform to resellers and partners.
- Manage sales of the India ILDO A2P SMS route to international clients seeking quality domestic termination.
- Drive RCS adoption and monetization in alignment with operator support and enterprise use cases.
- Sell Campaign Manager to large clients looking for automated campaign execution, segmentation, and analytics.
Partnerships & Alliances
- Build and manage partnerships with CPaaS providers, aggregators, and OTT platforms.
- Explore white-label and reseller agreements in international markets.
- Develop and negotiate commercial models tailored to each product.
Revenue & Margin Focus
- Drive gross margin growth through optimized pricing, packaging, and routing.
- Align incentive metrics to product profitability and account performance.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Number of new logos and enterprise clients onboarded.
- Revenue and gross margin contribution from each product line.
- Active partner and aggregator base across international territories.
- Campaign volumes and recurring usage metrics from platform clients.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in international enterprise messaging sales.
- Deep knowledge of ILDO, OTT messaging (WhatsApp, RCS), and CPaaS platforms.
- Proven ability to close deals with aggregators, resellers, and large enterprises.
- Familiarity with SMS routing, campaign platforms, and OTT messaging integration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product, Tech, Compliance, and Finance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- MBA or certifications in digital messaging/CPaaS platforms is a plus.
