Job Summary
We are looking for two enthusiastic and technically sound Junior Data Center Engineers to support day-to-day operations at our Mumbai data center. The ideal candidates will assist in hardware installations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the physical and virtual infrastructure under the guidance of the Senior System Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installation and maintenance of servers, network devices, and racks.
- Monitor data center environment (temperature, humidity, power, etc.).
- Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and network issues.
- Support remote hands requests and coordinate with internal teams.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in patching, cabling, and labeling of equipment.
- Follow SOPs for incident handling, escalation, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with physical security and access protocols.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance and upgrade activities.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux OS.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Exposure to virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix – preferred).
- Knowledge of data center operations and hardware components.
- Ability to work with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Comfortable with hardware handling, cabling, and labeling.
Soft Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
