    Description

    The Senior Tender Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process for government and private sector opportunities. This includes identifying tender opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, ensuring timely submissions, coordinating with internal team or board members.

    Key Responsibilities

    Tender Identification & Analysis:

    • Monitor online/offline tender portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, E-tender portals) for relevant opportunities.
    • Fetching tender from various sources/sites via keywords
    • Analyze tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs) and evaluate business fit.


    Tender Preparation & Submission:

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical, legal, finance, Accounts) to gather required inputs.
    • Preparing and presenting pre bid queries
    • Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial bid documents in compliance with tender requirements.
    • Ensure timely online and/or physical submission of tenders.


    Documentation & Compliance:

    • Maintain updated records of all tender submissions and related documentation.
    • Ensure pre-qualification criteria, certifications, registrations are up to date.
    • Handle post-submission documentation like clarifications, addendums, and contract signing processes.


    Vendor/Client Liaison:

    • Coordinate with government departments and private clients for tender follow-ups, clarifications, and negotiations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with tender authorities and channel partners.


    Reporting & Coordination:

    • Provide regular reports to management on tender progress, status, and outcomes.
    • Suggest process improvements and best practices to enhance bid success rate.

    Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.


    Experience

    • 2-4 years of experience in tender management, preferably in telecom, IT,  or public sector business.


    Skills

    • Strong knowledge of tender portals and bid submission procedures.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and tender platforms.

    Desirable

    • Familiarity with GeM, CPP, EProcurement systems.
    • Experience with technical and commercial documentation.
    • Exposure to government procurement norms and contract law.
